2020 Governor’s Conference on Volunteerism

June 23 - June 25


Volunteer NH hosts the annual Governor’s Conference on Volunteerism in partnership with the Governor’s office. The purpose of the conference is to educate, enhance skills, and provide professional development that will support and strengthen New Hampshire’s volunteer programs and organizations.

Cost: Sessions will be FREE of cost to all who attend (online)

When: Virtual sessions will take place throughout the day on Tuesday, June 23 – Thursday, June 25

Where: Due to safety restrictions related to COVID-19, this event will be 100% virtual in 2020

Who: This conference features sessions appealing to:

  • Volunteer managers
  • Leaders/staff of nonprofits and public agencies
  • Board members
  • National service members and staff (AmeriCorps & Senior Corps)
  • Business professionals interested in corporate social responsibility

What: Join our sessions to learn alongside a diverse group of people, exploring exciting and up-to date best practices in:

  • Volunteer management
  • Nonprofit management and operations
  • Business/Nonprofit partnership models
  • Diversity & inclusion
  • Other relevant topics for those involved in the volunteer sector

    • Registration is session-by-session this year (rather than registering for the whole conference)
    • All sessions will be recorded – if you register for a session, we will share the recording with you regardless if you attend the live session
  • Nominate someone for the 2020 Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Manager of the Year: The deadline has been extended for the foreseeable future – new deadline TBD
