Submit a session proposal.

Deadline: Friday, February 26

Volunteer NH is seeking pro bono presenters and we encourage you to submit up to 3 proposals. Our presenters get involved to share lessons that they had to learn the hard way; to ensure that NH volunteers are supported & celebrated; to help foster diverse & inclusive work/volunteer spaces; or just because it is an opportunity to spend time with a passionate group of individuals from across NH and beyond!

A few tips to keep in mind as you plan out your session(s):

– Consider proposing a series of related sessions. This could be structured as a learning track for individuals to dive deep into the content over the course of 2-3 sessions… or intro/intermediate/advanced versions of the same content.

– Don’t underestimate your audience! We expect hundreds of attendees & many will be looking for advanced content.

– Prioritize key take-aways. Share your expertise and action-oriented strategies to help attendees elevate their day-to-day work.

– Mix it up. The best sessions tend to combine a variety of elements (lecture, interaction, Q&A opportunities, worksheets/handouts, etc.)

Nominate someone for the Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Manager of the Year Award.

Deadline: Wednesday, March 31

This award was created by former Governor John Sununu to honor volunteer administrators and salute their excellence in leadership and management of volunteers in New Hampshire. The 2020 recipient, Nicole Finitsis, was recognized during the Spirit of NH Awards (due to challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic); you can click here to view a video that we made to recognize her contributions.
