As volunteers and volunteer program staff, you are often on the front lines of community service, connecting with individuals who may be struggling. Volunteer NH is offering free online “Gatekeeper” training from the QPR Institute to help you make a difference when it matters most.
This training will equip you to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and learn how to Question, Persuade, and Refer someone to get the help they need. The course is online, flexible, self-paced, and can be completed in around 60 minutes on your own schedule.
Instructions:
- Click the “Begin the Course” button below
- Enter the organization code: VNH
- Click “Create Training Account”
- Fill out the form with your full name and email
- Click “Create Training Account”
- On this page you will see your User ID and password (Don’t worry, this information will also be emailed to you)
- Click on the login link: https://www.qprtraining.com
- Type in the organization code if prompted: VNH
- Enter the login credentials given to you on the previous page and in the email.
