Volunteer NH, AmeriCorps State, AmeriCorps VISTA, and Senior Corps have officially begun collecting items for the 2017 MLK Day of Service!
This year, to help the over 3,000 NH students identified as homeless in 2015-2016, and to provide some relief to many of NH’s underfunded schools, the programs will be collecting:
- Pencils/Pens
- Folders
- Dry Erase Markers
- Loose-Leaf Paper (Wide-Ruled)
- Tissues
- Hand-Sanitizer
- Clorox Wipes
All items will be donated to neediest schools across New Hampshire.
If you want to donate, contact any AmeriCorps Program to find out where their donation drop-off sites are, or you can bring items to Volunteer NH’s office.
