IMPORTANT NOTE ON ELIGIBILITY: Prior AmeriCorps experience is a requirement for any organization looking to apply to either Notice. Only organizations that have successfully run an AmeriCorps Planning grant through Volunteer NH and/or have operated an AmeriCorps program previously are eligible to apply.

2023-2024 Public Health AmeriCorps Programs

This Notice is for organizations wishing to operate an AmeriCorps program with a goal to help meet public health needs of local communities by providing needed capacity and support in state and local public health settings and advancing more equitable health outcomes for communities who are currently or historically underserved.

Programs should also seek to provide pathways to good, quality public health-related careers by providing exposure through onsite experience, training, and more, with a focus on recruiting AmeriCorps members who reflect the communities in which they will serve.

Organizations that apply to this NOFO must intend to operate an AmeriCorps program with members providing service in New Hampshire ONLY.
