National Volunteer Week was established in 1974 and has grown exponentially each year, with thousands of volunteer projects and special events scheduled throughout the week. This year, Volunteer NH is joining the celebration, and we’re looking forward to celebrating our volunteers and opportunities for service statewide!

Use this week as an opportunity to discover new ways to get involved in your community! Here are some ideas to get you started:

  1. Sign up to volunteer with your favorite community organization or cause you’re passionate about by joining Get Connected, our volunteer opportunity database.
  2. Visit Serve, Learn, Earn to find out how AmeriCorps could benefit you and your career path.
  3. Purchase tickets to attend the 2025 Governor’s Conference on Volunteerism, taking place May 21, for volunteer managers, nonprofit employees, and AmeriCorps members & staff. Attendees leave this training experience with the tools to strengthen New Hampshire’s volunteer programs and organizations.
