Volunteer NH is seeking pro bono presenters for our 2017 Governor’s Conference on Volunteerism. This year’s conference will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd from 8:00am-4:00pm at NHTI, Concord’s Community College. For over thirty years, this conference has offered the most up-to-date and relevant sessions regarding nonprofit and volunteer management.
Session Topics
While we will consider any topic relevant to nonprofit and volunteer management, we are actively seeking session topics related to our New Hampshire State Service Plan (Education, Drug Misuse/Mental Health, and Transportation for Seniors).
Below are some examples of presentation titles, but please note that we encourage submissions of other topics as well:

  • Marketing your Nonprofit
  • Fundraising
  • How to make Volunteering Meaningful to Volunteers
  • How to Push Volunteers to Think Differently
  • Recruiting/Retaining Volunteers

Presentation Format
The conference consists of four blocks of 60 minute breakout sessions, and we hope that presenters consider sharing their expertise at more than one session.  We encourage presentations that include a combination of interactive/audience participation, hands-on activities, questions and answers/group discussion, and lecture.
If you are interested in submitting a presentation idea, please click this link, and fill out a short form with your presentation idea by January 15th. Please contact Emily at Emily@volunteernh.org to let her know you have submitted it (along with any additional questions). Your proposal will be reviewed, and we will contact you from there.
Note: Please keep in mind that these presentations are pro bono, and (unless agreed upon) Volunteer NH cannot compensate you. However, you will receive free registration to the entire conference, including lunch, in exchange for your willingness to share your knowledge with others.
