NOTE: This notice is for AmeriCorps New Hampshire Formula Grant Programs. These grants are awarded to organizations to operate an AmeriCorps program that will place AmeriCorps members in service in New Hampshire.

Prerequisite: Only Legal Applicants that have prior experience with AmeriCorps (i.e. have run an AmeriCorps program) or who have been awarded a planning grant through Volunteer NH are eligible to apply to this Notice.


  • Friday, January 31 –Information call for new applicants at 2pm.
  • Thursday, February 6 – Initial Documents due to Volunteer NH by 5pm. These documents must be submitted, or on file before submission of “Intent to Apply”
  • Wednesday, February 19– AmeriCorps Program Grant Writing and Budget Training 2 pm-4 pm at the Volunteer NH Office (REQUIRED for new applicants)
  • Wednesday, March 4– Intent to Apply due by 5 pm

      • VNH will only accept an Intent to apply if we have received and approved your AmeriCorps Readiness Self-Assessment and your completed Financial Management Survey
      • Currently funded programs wishing to apply as a continuation please see Continuation Section on p.5
  • Wednesday, April 1 – Applications (and required supplemental documents, please see page 7) due in eGrants by 5pm
  • Friday, May 1 –Feedback delivered to applicants as denial or approval of the application for submission to Formula competition with or without clarifications.
  • Friday, May 8 – Final Applications due in eGrants by 5pm.

 **Volunteer NH expects all applicants to abide by the above timeline without exception. Volunteer NH reserves the right to declare any applicant that does not meet any of the aforementioned deadlines ineligible for funding**
